Founder

Deanna was born in Brooklyn, New York, to Barbadian parents. She is no stranger to assisting others and participating in community service. At the age of 17, she began volunteering by assisting her previous high school in preparing and serving Thanksgiving meals to the less fortunate. She didn't understand she had a calling to serve people until she began leading a community service project at the Coney Island Lighthouse Mission Soup Kitchen. Deanna founded Feed The Future Inc. in memory of her late grandmother. Her ambition is to build several soup kitchens around the five boroughs of New York City, as well as to operate a soup kitchen on wheels via a food truck.
